Chitral (Chitral Express): On the special instructions of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Malakand Zahid Nawaz and District Police Officer (DPO) Lower Chitral Muhammad Khalid Khan, the annual firing practice for all officers, personnel and women police staff of Lower Chitral Police has formally begun.
During this training exercise, all officers and personnel are undertaking firing practice under the supervision of experienced instructors at the Police Lines, to further sharpen their marksmanship and practical skills.
Also present on the occasion were DSP Headquarters Azizuddin, DSP Security Qurban Panah, Police Lines RI (RI) Sub-Inspector Abrar Ahmad, and other senior police officers.
Speaking on the occasion, police officers said that the main purpose of the annual firing practice is to provide the police force with practical training in the best and safe use of firearms. They added that the exercise will improve the professional capabilities of officers and personnel, enabling them to deal with any untoward incident or emergency and take full and effective action to restore law and order.
