Chitral (Chitral Express) — To improve public facilities and ensure their monitoring under the District Service Delivery (DSD) initiative, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) of Lower Chitral Isa Muhammad Khan made a detailed visit to several key locations in the city. Administrator / TMO (Headquarters) of the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Chitral, Haider Ayub Khan, accompanied him.
He visited Shaheed Usama Waraich Park in Chitral and reviewed the facilities available for tourists and local residents, as well as cleanliness. He then inspected the slaughterhouse in Danin, Chitral, where he directed butchers to follow hygiene standards and ensure the supply of quality meat.
Later, he visited the public transport stands “Kroop Risht Adda” and “Shahi Adda” in Chitral, reviewing the facilities provided to passengers, fare schedules and the cleanliness arrangements.
On the occasion, he directed the relevant officials not to compromise on providing basic facilities to the public or on the standard of district service delivery, and to address shortcomings immediately.
