Musharaf is in serious trouble: APML president

KARACHI – Karachi All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) President Ahmed Hussein has said that former president Pervez Musharraf is in serious trouble due to discomfort in spinal cord.

He appealed to the people to pray for his fast recovery. Ahmed Hussein said that the former president was allowed to go abroad for treatment. Musharraf was taken to a private medical facility in Karachi after he suffered back pain on Sunday.

A medical team examined the former army chief as he was brought to a private hospital located at Karachi’s Clifton area. A private TV channel reported that his left leg suffered a temporary paralysis and has been prescribed pain relieving medicines till the medical report comes.

He has also been advised rest by the doctors. It was the first time that the former president was taken to a private hospital. He used to do his medical checkups at PNS Shifa.
