A review workshop of MIER Review Committee was held today, Friday 24 June, 2016, at Terichmir View Hotel Chitral. In this workshop the preschool curriculum and textbooks for grade 1 and 2, developed by the organization, were thoroughly reviewed and finalized. It is pertinent to mention here that MIER has been working to develop preschool MLE curriculum and textbooks for the last three years under the supervision of FLI (Forum for Language Initiatives) Islamabad. After the compilation of the textbooks for grade 1 last year, MIER established Khowar MLE School at Booni and included the same in this school on experimental basis. Surprisingly enough, the MLE approach has highly been successful, and the community has expressed great satisfaction over it.
The reviewed material will be published by FLI in the coming months, and will be included in the Khowar MLE School Booni late this year. The Review Committee included Dr. Inayat Ullah Faizi, Farid Ahmad Raza, Javed Iqbal Javed, Mahboob ul Haq Haqqie, Atta Hussain Athar, Zahoor ul Haq Danish, Muhammad Nayab Farani, Hasan Basri Hasan and Sana Ullah Sani.
