Session on “Rural Entrepreneurship” organized by Pakistan US Alumni Network (PUAN) KP Chapter in Chitral

Kosht -Chitral (our correspondent) an enlightening session on rural entrepreneurship was held at The Brilliance School of Studies, Kosht on Saturday last week where Alumni from Pakistan US Alumni Network (PUAN) led the session. Talking on the occasion Mr. Atta Ur Rehman, member PUAN-KP chapter said that this event was supported by PUAN-KP and facilitated by BSS Kosht and Hindukush Area Rural Support Organization (HARSO). It was the first event of its kind held in Upper Chitral where youth were sensitized about different options of employability and small scale businesses. About 93 youth participated in the event from Charun, Booni and UC Kosht. Lecturer BSS Mr. Haider Ali thanked the PUAN team and manager HARSO Ali Akbar highlighted the role of HARSO in business development in the area. Mr. Atta Ur Rehman led the session and introduced the team where Huma Akbar shared inspiring stories on business, Syed Azhar Sabbah talked about online entrepreneurship and Wahid Khan delivered a session on social entrepreneurship. The participants also had interesting group activities and 68 local businesses were identified by the participants that could be practically initiated in the area. Principal BSS, MR. Ihsan Ullah concluded the session and thanked the team for choosing BSS and said that BSS doors are always open to the youth for such type of event.
