Telenor Services Suspended in IUCT 34 Phasti for the Past 15 Days, Leaving Residents Facing Severe Hardship

34 Chitral (Chitral Express): With the Telenor signal completely absent in IUCT (IUCT 34) Phasti for the past 15 days, residents of the area are facing severe difficulties and have been deprived of a basic means of communication.

According to sources, the solar system at the Telenor tower installed in the area has broken down, while no suitable emergency generator arrangement is in place to provide electricity. With no alternative power system, the tower remains completely shut down, cutting off communications between Phasti and the surrounding areas and the rest of the world.

The continued lack of a signal is causing serious mental and practical difficulties not only for ordinary residents, but also for students, the business community and the relatives of patients. Local people say that mobile and internet services are basic necessities in the present era, but due to negligence by Telenor management, no practical step has been taken to resolve the issue despite 15 days having passed.

Residents of Phasti have strongly urged the relevant senior authorities and Telenor’s top officials to take immediate notice of this serious issue. They have called for the tower’s solar system to be repaired immediately and for a permanent arrangement to be ensured for generator fuel and maintenance as an alternative, so that Telenor services in the area can be restored as soon as possible.

Residents have asked how long people in Phasti will remain deprived of this basic communication facility even in the modern era. They will be forced to protest if the service is not restored immediately.
