Chitral Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hosts Special Session on Women’s Protection in Workplaces

Chitral, December 5, 2024 – The Chitral Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), in collaboration with the Aga Khan Rural Support Program (AKRSP), organized a one-day special session on “Protection of Women in Workplaces.” The event, held at Pamir Hotel, Shahi Qilla Chitral, was a significant initiative to promote safety, empowerment, and equal opportunities for women in professional settings.

The session was attended by a diverse audience, including heads of government departments, representatives from colleges, universities, lawyers, doctors, nurses, bankers, civil society members, media personnel, and political representatives. ADC Lower Chitral graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and lauded the efforts of CCCI and AKRSP in addressing a pressing issue.
