CHITRAL: (Staff Reporter) Vice-Chancellor University of Chitral Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah distributed Ehsaas Scholarship and Kalasha Scholarship cheques among students of the University of Chitral. A total of 356 students of the University of Chitral benefited from the Ehsaas Scholarship program. Similarly, under the Kalasha Scholarship program, a total amount of 285000 rupees were distributed among Kalasha students under Prime Minister Kalasha scholarship program. Provost University of Chitral Dr. Tajuddin was also present on the occasion. He also distributed scholarship cheques among students. Kalasha students appreciated the untiring efforts of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor towards the education of Kalasha students. It is for the first that such a large number of scholarships were made available for the students of the University to provide them free of cost quality education at their doorstep.
Dr. Shah said that the universities are the center of intellectual activities and always encourage the needy students. He asked the beneficiary students to focus on their education and extra curriculum activities to achieve their targets. He said that Ehsaas Scholarship is very beneficial for the financial assistance of deserving & talented students to continue their educational journey smoothly and efficiently. Vice-Chancellor appreciated the efforts of the Provost Office for their hard and dedicated work.
